  • What's A Moisture Balance?

    A moisture balance, (or sludge scale) is used to measure the amount of hydration in a material. Moisture determination can be used in a variety of fields, such as, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and petroleum industries as well as environmental laboratories. To measure dryness or hydration, this balance uses halogen bulbs for rapid heating and drying.

  • Halogen Bulbs

    This moisture balance has 500 watt halogen bulbs to get your stuff dried up quickly, so can get to analyzing.

  • Bright Backlit Display

    This moisture balance has a fancy backlit display to help ya see your weight readings, even in dim lighting. Not only that! This scale's display will tell ya the date, the time, which mode you're weighing in, the weight on the scale, and more.

  • RS-232 & USB Output

    The Adam PMB 202 has an RS232 and USB port built right in. This is important if you want to send your weight readings and other data to an external source like a computer or printer.

  • Application Library

    You can store up to 49 different configuration settings and 99 test results on the PMB 202 internal memory. You can store even more on an external drive using the built in USB port. This will reduce the time it takes to process your samples by eliminating the need to set up all parameters every time you start.

  • Time And Temperature

    You can set the time and temperature ya want to use for drying all your samples. This allows ya to accurately determine hydration levels in all sorts of different materials. You can program how long ya want this moisture analyzer to keep working, (from 5 to 99 minutes), to automatically shut off, or to keep working until ya turn it off your self.

  • Tare Feature

    The tare button on the front of the PMB 202 can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding.

  • Liquid Level Indicator

    This very handy feature will help you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings. All ya have to do is twist the feet on the bottom of the scale until the spirit bubble is centered within the level.
