Programmable Auto Off Feature
If you've ever have your scale turn off on ya in the middle of important measurements, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can program the FZ-i to turn off automatically after about 10 minutes of inactivity, or to stay on until ya turn it off yourself.
Dynamic Weighing Feature
This precision balance has a really cool dynamic weighing feature that will let ya get accurate weights of unstable items, this is especially great for weighing animals!
Checkweighing Feature
To make sure ya get your weights just right, this precision scale has a checkweighing feature that will let ya set your target weight. Once your target weight is set, the FZ-3000i will let ya know when you're over, under or just right.
Percent Weighing
This feature will let ya compare the weights of your samples against a predetermined reference weight. This can be helpful in weight checking, compounding, formulating and more.

ACAI™ (Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement)
This function will improve the accuracy of the unit weight by re-calculating the unit weight with each additional amount of pieces ya put on the scale. This is gonna make counting your parts and pieces super accurate and super easy.
Bright Vacuum Fluorescent Display
This digital precision scale has a fancy VFD display with bright blue digits so ya can see your weight readings even in dim lighting. The great thing about a vacuum fluorescent displays is that you'll be able to see your readings from nearly any angle, unlike LCDs.
RS-232 Serial Port
The A&D FZ3000i has an RS232 port built right in. This is important if ya want to send your weight readings and other data to an external source like a computer or printer.

Weighing Hook
Sometimes the thing ya need to weigh just won't fit on the scale's platform. Now that's a problem for most scales, but not the A&D FZ 3000i. This scale has a weighing hook built right into the bottom. This hook works by pulling on the weighing platform when an item is hanging from it, just like if ya were to put an item on top of the platform. Just uncover the hook, and hang your item from it to weigh.
Tare Feature
The tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use an expansion scoop to weigh your things, or if ya want to get separate weights of multiple items.
Liquid Level Indicator
This very handy feature will help ya quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
