WinCT Communication Software
This precision balance can be connected to a computer using the RS232 port and the included WinCT software. This software can be used with Windows based computers to transmit data to and from your GX precision balance.
IP 54 Splash Proof Keypad
This precision balance has a splashproof keypad with an IP (Ingress Protection) rating of 54. This means the scale's membrane keypad is protected against dust and splashed water. So, if ya get a little liquid on the GX200 just wipe it off and get back to weighing.
Programmable Auto On & Auto Off
You can program this precision balance to automatically turn on when the AC is plugged in and to turn off after a few minutes of inactivity.
Dynamic Weighing Feature
This precision balance has a really cool dynamic weighing feature that will let ya get accurate weights of unstable items, this is especially great for weighing animals!
Checkweighing Feature
To make sure ya get your weights just right, this precision scale has a checkweighing feature that will let ya set your target weight. Once your target weight is set, the GX-200 will let ya know when you're over, under or just right.
Percent Weighing
This feature will let ya compare the weights of your samples against a predetermined reference weight. This can be helpful in weight checking, compounding, formulating and more.
Does This Thing Count?
You bet it does! All ya need to do is weigh a sample amount of pieces, so the GX200 can know how much each piece weighs, then start counting. You'll be finished in no time.
ACAI™ (Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement)
This function will improve the accuracy of the unit weight by re-calculating the unit weight with each additional amount of pieces ya put on the scale. This is gonna make counting your parts and pieces super accurate and super easy.
Bright Vacuum Fluorescent Display
This digital precision scale has a fancy VFD display with bright blue digits so you can see your weight readings even in dim lighting. The great thing about a vacuum fluorescent displays is that you will be able to see your readings from nearly any angle, unlike LCDs.
RS-232 Serial Port
The A&D GX200 has an RS232 port built right in. This is important if you're wanting to send your weight readings and other data to an external source like a computer or printer.

Advanced Automatic Self Calibration
You won't have to worry about buying calibration weights for this scientific scale. This GX has automatic internal calibration that uses internal weights to calibrate the scale. The GX-200 will automatically calibrate with a significant change in temperature, or whenever ya tell it to. This is gonna come in real handy, especially if ya don't like going through the whole calibration process. If ya prefer to calibrate the scale manually with your own weights, you can do that too.
Weighing Hook
Sometimes the thing ya need to weigh just won't fit on the scale's platform. Now that's a problem for most scales, but not the A&D GX 200. This scale has a weighing hook built right into the bottom. This hook works by pulling on the weighing platform when an item is hanging from it, just like if ya were to put an item on top of the platform. Just uncover the hook, and hang your item from it to weigh.
Tare Feature
The tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use an expansion scoop to weigh your things, or if ya want to get separate weights of multiple items.
Liquid Level Indicator
This very handy feature will help you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
