What's A Moisture Balance?
A moisture balance is used to measure the amount of hydration in a material. Moisture determination can be used in a variety of fields, such as, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and petroleum industries as well as environmental laboratories. To measure dryness or hydration, this balance uses halogen bulbs for rapid heating and drying.
Super Hybrid Sensor
The ML-50 moisture balance has high repeatability thanks to the SHS weighing sensor. You can get extremely accurate moisture content measurements of even small samples.
Halogen Bulbs And SRA Filter
This moisture balance has 400 watt halogen bulbs and a secondary radiation assist filter to get your stuff dried up quickly. Shorter measurement time, faster analyzing.
Bright Vacuum Fluorescent Display
This digital moisture analyzer has a fancy VFD display with bright blue digits so ya can see your weight readings even in dim lighting. The great thing about a vacuum fluorescent displays is that you'll be able to see your readings from nearly any angle, unlike LCDs.
RS-232 Output
The A&D ML50 has an RS232 port built right in. This is important if you want to send your weight readings and other data to an external source like a computer or printer.
Application Library And Memory
You can store up to 5 different configuration settings and 30 test results on the ML-50 internal memory.
Five Measurement Modes
The ML-50 has five different modes for you to use: Standard, Automatic, Quick, Timer, and Manual.
Liquid Level Indicator
This very handy feature will help you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings. All ya have to do is twist the feet on the bottom of the scale until the spirit bubble is centered within the level.
