What's A Moisture Balance? A moisture balance is used to measure the amount of hydration in a material. Moisture determination can be used in a variety of fields, such as, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and petroleum industries as well as environmental laboratories. To measure dryness or hydration, this balance uses halogen bulbs for rapid heating and drying.
Super Hybrid Sensor The MX-50 moisture balance has high repeatability thanks to the SHS weighing sensor. You can get extremely accurate moisture content measurements of even small samples.
WinCT-Moisture Communication Software This moisture analyzer balance can be connected to a computer using the RS232 port and the included WinCT-Moisture software. This software can be used with Windows based computers to transmit data to and from your MX-50 moisture balance.
Halogen Bulbs And SRA Filter This moisture balance has 400 watt halogen bulbs and a secondary radiation assist filter to get your stuff dried up quickly. Shorter measurement time, faster analyzing.
Bright Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) This digital scale has a fancy VFD display with bright blue digits so your weight readings will be nice and clear. Benefits of the VFD compared to LCD are a wider range of viewing angles, brighter digits, better contrast and easy viewing from greater distances.
RS-232 Output The A&D MX50 has an RS232 port built right in. This is important if you want to send your weight readings and other data to an external source like a computer or printer.
Application Library And Memory You can store up to 20 different configuration settings and 100 test results on the MX-50 internal memory.
Five Measurement Modes The MX-50 has five different modes for you to use: Standard, Automatic, Quick, Timer, and Manual.
Liquid Level Indicator This very handy feature will help you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings. All ya have to do is twist the feet on the bottom of the scale until the spirit bubble is centered within the level.
