IP 69K High Water Pressure & Heat Resistant Housing
These digital washdown scales have the highest IP rating of any washdown scale. The SW series of scales are protected from both high pressure jets and high temperature, (1450 psi and 175°F) thanks to their water resistant housing with an IP (Ingress Protection) rating of 69K. This means the SW6KS and SW15KS are protected from dust, high pressure water jets from all directions and high temperatures, as well as, corrosion, sleet, rain and more. Programmable Resolutions
Sometimes ya don't need to know weights down to the smallest decimal...sometimes ya do. These wash down scales have three ranges of resolutions for you to choose from and ya can see them listed in the capacity and resolution chart above.
Programmable Auto-Off Feature
If you've ever had your scale turn off on ya in the middle of important measurements, or run out of battery power because ya forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can program the SW super washdown scales to turn off after a few moments of inactivity, or to stay on until ya turn it off yourself.
Touch Key Operation
You won't find any buttons on the SW scales. The SW series uses technology that lets you simply place your finger on the key you want to operate. You won't have to worry about water damage, dust or dirt getting stuck under the keys, or buttons breaking due to heavy use.
Adjustable Weight Indicator Angle
You can adjust the angle of the SW scales' display to suit your needs. All ya have to do is loosen the knobs that secure the indicator to the mounting pole, adjust to your preferred angle, then tighten the knobs back up. Quick and easy!
Does This Thing Count?
You bet it does! All ya need to do is weigh a sample amount of pieces, so the SW can know how much each piece weighs, then start counting. You'll be finished in no time.
Checkweighing (Comparator) Feature
To make sure ya get your weights just right, this water proof series has a check weighing feature that will let ya set your target weight. Once your target weight is set, the SW scales will let ya know when you're over, under or just right.
Durable Stainless Steel Platform
The SW-6KS and SW-15KS have a durable stainless steel weighing platform to make cleanup a breeze. Unlike gold or silver, stainless steel doesn't scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing.
Tare Feature
The tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use an expansion tray to weigh your things, or if ya want to get separate weights of multiple items.
Liquid Level Indicator
This very handy feature will help you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
