HOW DOES THE BODY FAT FUNCTION WORK?
This My Weigh Phoenix TBF-440 is a real HIGH-TECH marvel, folks! It uses the most reliable method of analyzing body composition, BIA (that's short for Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis). This makes the Phoenix a TRUE body fat scale, unlike some models out there on the market today.
Electrodes built into the stainless steel food pads send a safe electronic signal through the body. BIA analyzes the strength and speed at which this low-level electrical signal passes through the muscle and fat in the your body. The Phoenix combines that information, along with your weight reading, and the gender and height you enter into the scale when ya' first set it up, and then determines your body fat percentage.
