Both sides of the molded Styrofoam case are formed so the Scale fits in it just SO-SO... snug as a bug in a rug :o) You Teachers out there gotta' REALLY appreciate that, if ya' ever had those little rats, err... students, banging your 3-Beams around.. The My Weigh 3-Beam slides in the package real smooth, time after time... no damage means more money for other stuff... and I know you folks gotta' stretch it thin !

THE 3 BEAMS ON THIS 3-BEAM ARE QUALITY, FOR SURE!
I took a close look folks, and it's real obvious these things are precisely machined. The notches in the beams are deep and sure, as are the points in the sliding 500 gram and 100 gram Poises.
