Here's what ya' wanna' know about WHAT YOU'RE GONNA' BUY: Need a FANTASTIC shipping scale? Most scales in this class weigh in 0.1oz (1/10th ounce) increments. The i2500 is WAY MORE accurate... it weighs in 0.02oz (1/50th ounce) increments! You couldn't possibly ask for a better scale for weighing your letters and packages. On a stinking diet? The i2500 is a gem of a scale for weighing your food portions... to the nearest HALF GRAM! Whipping up your favorite recipe? Use the "Add N Weigh" "Add N Weigh" allows for the cumulative weighing of items. This means ya' can place an item on the scale, see its weight, press the TARE key, then place another item, see that item's weight, then press the NW/GW key to see the combined weight of the items. Ya' can also press the NW/GW key again to go back to the Add N Weigh process. This process allows for the cumulative weighing of up to 20 items! NW / GW (Net Weight / Gross weight): This is a special feature of the i2500 that allows for each item or ingredient to be weighed separately (net weight), then the combined total weight (gross weight) can be displayed. My Weigh really put on their thinking cap when they dreamed this scale up! Need an easy to read display? This thing has a BACKLIT DISPLAY, and the numbers are huge! How big is this thing? The scale itself is 7.9" x 5.9", and is 1.8 inches high. The circular platform is 5.2" in diameter. The clear bowl fits snugly on the platform... it's 4.3" high and 9.3" in diameter. Click picture to enlarge The i2500 will count any items ya like... even stuff as small as 1/2 gram! It lets ya' sample 10, 20, 50, or 100 pieces. Folks... I've thoroughly tested the counting accuracy of the scale, and it does a super job! See that last picture, "counting" 175 wire nuts? After I took that picture, I added more nuts, one by one, and the count on the i2500 went up right along with me, one by one. It's NEAT!
