This mini scale has a "tare" feature, which lets ya' set the weight to "zero" after ya' put an object on the scale. This MIGHTY TECHNICAL feature let's ya' measure the weight of the stuff inside a container. The scale "ignores" the weight of the container, so it just displays the weight of the stuff inside of it.
