- HUGE ON-BOARD FOOD LIBRARY
The 1450 comes complete with statistics for over 1400 different foods already on board. Each user can add another 100 foods or recipes to that. They're making it harder and harder to cheat on our diets!
- 11 DIFFERENT NUTRITIONAL VALUES
Once ya' weigh your food, and tell the scale what it's weighing, it will tell ya' calories, protein, carbohydrates, total sugars, total fat, saturated fat, fiber, sodium, cholesterol, net carbs, and GI value. It's tough to get that much info off the box.
- "AQUATRONIC" FEATURE
This feature will tell ya' the nutritional values of liquids just by putting them on the scale. Now, Salter tells me that this feature works really well for water based liquids such as wine, stock, milk, and other dairies. But they also say with oils, your readings might be off as much as 10%, so keep that in mind.
- MULTIPLE USERS
The things I've already told ya' make this scale a heck of a deal, but that's not even the half of it. This scale can save the food intake of two different people. Once you're saving your intake, you can do things like set goals, and then ask the scale how you're doing for the day, and how much ya' can still eat. It's pretty impressive stuff!
- ABSENT FOOD MODE
Now don't think that just because ya' don't have your scale with ya' when ya' eat, you're getting away with something! When ya' get back to the scale, you can tell the scale what ya' ate, and about how much, and it will add that to your total. Did they think of everything or what?
