Product Details

Tare & Average Piece Weight For Up To 300 Parts If ya weigh a lot of different items, this feature is sure to come in handy. The 2240-10 counting scale has a storage library that will let you save up to 300 profiles for your different parts and pieces. Each file stores item ID, average piece weight, tare weights, and accumulated piece count. That's pretty handy if ya ask me.

Connection For A Second Scale If this scale's platform isn't quite big enough, you can connect a larger base to the scale to use.

RS-232 Interface This counting scales has a serial port that will allow you to connect the scale to the Detecto P220 label printer. Great for printing ID number, Count Time, Date, Gross, Tare, Net Weight, and Units. It can even print barcodes.

Accumulate Mode This cumulative counting feature will let ya get the weight and count of separate batches, then you can see the total of all the items you just weighed. This is gonna come in real handy for weighing separate batches to get batch count and total amount.

Average Piece Weight Before ya start counting your pieces, ya need to let the 2240-10 know how much each piece weighs. Detecto made this simple by averaging the weight of the pieces ya put on the scale. Just type in how many pieces are on the scale, and the 224010 will average the weights. The bigger your sample is, the more accurate the scale will be when counting your pieces. You can also turn this feature off if ya want to manually calibrate the scale based on your sample.

Tare & Pre-Tare Feature The tare button on the front of the Detecto 2240 10 can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to fill a container, or use a tray or basket to weigh your items. You can also tell the scale how much your container weighs before ya put it on the scale. That's helpful of you're measuring things already in a container.

Energy Saving Programmable Auto-Off If you've ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can set the 2240-10 counting scales to automatically turn off after your choice of up to nine minutes of inactivity, or to stay on until ya turn it off yourself.

Easy To Clean Membrane Keypad You won't have to worry about dust and dirt getting stuck under and around this part counting scale's buttons...The 2240-10 has an easy to clean membrane keypad with accurately labeled keys for easy weighing.

Liquid Level Indicator & Adjustable Feet To get the most accurate weight readings from the Detecto 2240-10, it's important to use it on a level surface. Detecto designed the 2240-10 with a liquid level indicator and adjustable feet for adjusting the balance.

1 YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY! The Detecto 2240-10 counting scale comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
