indicator with 0.87" weight digits, 0.5" height digits,

display weight, height, BMI and patient ID
simultaneously...no more scrolling through screens! You
can even adjust the display's intensity to suit your
Tare & Pre-Tare Feature
The tare button on Detecto 6500 wheelchair scale can
be pressed to "zero set" the weight on the scale. You
can then add more weight, and the display will only
show the weight of what you're adding. You can also use
the numeric keypad to enter known tare weights if ya
need to, or store up to 99 popular tare weights.
Energy Saving Programmable Auto-Off &
If you've ever had the batteries in something run
out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize
what a blessing this feature is. You can set this eye
level scale to automatically turn off after your choice
of up to nine minutes of inactivity, or to stay on
until ya turn it off yourself. You can also program the
6500 to go to sleep if ya want to save power, but don't
want the scale to shut all the way down.
This wheelchair scale uses the Detecto MV1 MedVue
indicator for weighing. This indicator has an
alphanumeric keypad for entering patient ids, height
and pre-tare weights.
The Detecto 6500 has built in wheels to make storing
and transporting easy. Just lift the scale on its side
and roll it away!
Extra Large, Non-Slip Platform
This wheelchair scale has a large, 30" x 32"
weighing platform with a non slip surface with loading
ramps on both sides. This makes the 6500 perfect for
both standing and sitting patients.
BMI (Body Mass Index) Feature
The Detecto 6500 can also tell you your BMI number.
Your BMI number is calculated based on your weight and
height, and can help ya see if you're in a healthy
weight range or not. Knowing this information can
really help ya out when you're about to start up a diet
and exercise plan.
With this cool feature you can weigh, press the
"LOCK/RELEASE" key, and step off the scale. After you
step off the 6500, the weight reading will remain on
the display. This can come in handy for recording
