Accumulate Mode
This cumulative counting feature will let ya get the weight and count of separate batches, then you can see the total of all the items you just weighed. This is gonna come in real handy for weighing separate batches to get batch count and total amount.
Average Piece Weight
Before ya start counting your pieces, ya need to let the scale know how much each piece weighs. Detecto made this simple by averaging the weight of the pieces ya put on the scale. Just type in how many pieces are on the scale, and the CS scales will average the weights. The bigger your sample is, the more accurate the scale will be when counting your pieces. You can also turn this feature off if ya want to manually calibrate the scale based on your sample.
Tare & Pre-Tare Feature
The tare button on the front of the Detecto CS6, CS30 and CS65 can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to fill a container, or use a tray or basket to weigh your items. You can also tell the scale how much your container weighs before ya put it on the scale. That's helpful of you're measuring things already in a container.
Quantity & Weight Limits
You can set a weight or quantity limit on the CS6, CS30 and CS60 to help batch inventory. Just set the limit and the scale will let ya know when you've gone over with a beep.
Rechargeable Battery Pack
You won't have to worry about searching high and low for a wall outlet to plug these Detecto counting scales into. The CS Series has an internal rechargeable battery that will give you up to 200 hours of use off a single charge. The charger will even charge the battery while you're using the scale!
Programmable Backlit Displays
You'll have no problem at all seeing the weight displays on the CS scales. The CS 6, CS 30 and CS 65 have bright backlit displays so ya can see your weights even in dim lighting. If you don't need the displays to light up, you can save battery power by setting the display to always off, or to only come on when you press a key or put weight on the platform.
Energy Saving Programmable Auto-Off
If you've ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can set the CS counting scales to automatically turn off after your choice of up to ten minutes of inactivity, or to stay on until ya turn it off yourself.
