Easy To Read DisplayThis wheelchair scale has an easy to read weight indicator with 0.87" weight digits, 0.5" height digits, 0.5" BMI digits and 0.35" ID digits. The FHD-144 will display weight, height, BMI and patient ID simultaneously...no more scrolling through screens! You can even adjust the display's intensity to suit your environment.
Tare & Pre-Tare FeatureThe tare button on Detecto FHD 144 wheelchair scale can be pressed to "zero set" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of what you're adding. You can also use the numeric keypad to enter known tare weights if you need to, or store up to 99 popular tare weights.
Energy Saving Programmable Auto-Off & SleepIf you've ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can set this bariatric scale to automatically turn off after your choice of up to nine minutes of inactivity, or to stay on until you turn it off yourself. You can also program the FHD to go to sleep if you want to save power, but don't want the scale to shut all the way down.
Alphanumeric KeypadThis wheelchair scale uses the Detecto MV1 MedVue indicator for weighing. This indicator has an alphanumeric keypad for entering patient ids, height and pre-tare weights.
Extra Large, Non-Skid Platform This wheelchair scale has a large, four foot square weighing platform with a non slip surface and a loading ramp on one side. This makes the FHD wheelchair scale perfect for both standing and sitting patients.
BMI (Body Mass Index) FeatureThe Detecto FHD 144-II can also tell you your BMI number. Your BMI number is calculated based on your weight and height, and can help you see if you're in a healthy weight range or not. Knowing this information can really help you out when you're about to start up a diet and exercise plan.
Hold FeatureWith this cool feature you can weigh, press the "LOCK/RELEASE" key, and step off the scale. After you step off the FHD, the weight reading will remain on the display. This can come in handy for recording weight readings.
