Weighing Hook Sometimes the thing ya need to weigh just won't fit on the weighing platform. Now that's a problem for most balances, but not the SJ. This precision balance has a weighing hook built right into the bottom. This hook works by pulling on the weighing platform when an item is hanging from it, just like if ya were to put an item on top of the platform. Tare Feature The tare button on this centigram balance can be pressed to "zero out" the weight that is on the platform. You can then add more weight and the balance will only display the weights of the items you're adding...this sure is useful.

All ya have to do is adjust the feet on the bottom of the SJ-620 until the spirit bubble is centered within the level indicator.
