Simple Design You'll sure have a hard time trying to find a more easy to use scale for weighing your little ones. This baby scale's three key operation and useful features make accurately weighing babies a simple task for anyone. Whether it's mommy and daddy weighing their baby at home, or a nurse getting weights of newborns in the nursery...anyone can operate and care for this baby scale.
It Remembers The Last Unit Ya Used If you're always going to weight your baby in pounds it can be a real pain if your scale always turns on ready to weigh in kilograms. It's a good thing the Baby Nest Scale turns on displaying the unit of measurement you were using when ya turned it off.
Convenient Carry Handles You'll find two handles on the bottom of this scale to make moving from place to place super easy.
Tare Feature The tare button on this baby scale can be pressed to "zero set" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of what you're adding. This sure does come in handy if baby wants to be weighed with his favorite toy or blanket.
Last Reading Memory This feature recalls the last weight reading captured. This handy feature makes it possible to weigh your little one and then make sure they're comfortable elsewhere before recording their weight.
Energy Saving Auto-Off If you've ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. Jennings designed this baby scale to turn off automatically after about five minutes of inactivity.

The scale is sturdy, easy to move around, and easy to use. The biggest problem is convincing certain cats to sit on it. One of ours walked right on and lay down for a nap. The other I worked with calmly for two weeks, putting little pieces of dry food on it, then cat nip, and finally putting it on one of her chairs, topped with a favorite tiny afghan. In the end she decided that she could tolerate sitting there for five seconds.Reviewed by: Mollie Bowling from Los Angeles on (12/31/2015)
Precise scale. I have tested it to 5 gm and it was accurate each time even with greater than 10 lbs on the scale. I wish the the platform was a little larger or even flat. I weigh infants on the scale for lactation consulting. Some of the larger babies are a tough fit. It has a 44 lb capacity. I have tried to weigh a 35 lb toddler on it and she didn't fit the nest in a sitting position. Can't beat it for the price!Reviewed by: Nancy Hinesly from Nashville, TN on (7/22/2015)
This scale was purchased to weigh puppies. I really wanted something to show even tiny verances in weight. I feel it saved one of my puppies by giving me a heads up immediately that she was smaller and not gaining much each day. A little help and she has taken off. The only down size is the top stained on first use.Reviewed by: Suzie from Montana on (10/17/2014)
We purchased this for our animal hospital. This is a nice, sturdy scale and love the fact it's made in the USA!! The warranty is awesome. Sometimes it takes a while to get a ready but that's because our patients don't always sit so still.I definitely give this scale a thumbs up!Reviewed by: Bernie from Lincolnshire Animal Hospital on (7/8/2014)
I'm sure this scale is perfect for the wee ones, but I purchased it to get a weekly accurate weight for my elderly cat. It is very sensitive to light weight, eliminating any inaccuracies probable with a regular scale. It conviently slips under my bathtub when not in use.Reviewed by: Marie McNulty from San Francisco on (1/28/2014)

A: The Baby Nest Scale will provide accurate weights for loads ranging from .01 pounds to 40 pounds. It should be able to accurately weigh your little kitty just fine.Answered by: Brandon (8/28/2014)

A: Hi there Nancy,
This particular model does not have a HOLD feature unfortunately. The most comparable model that has the Hold feature you're looking for is the Salter 914.
A: Hi Reina,
The reading only weighs pounds not ounces.
The pounds mode will weigh 2 places after the decimal down to .01, so yes that first place is 1/10 of a lb and the second place is 1/100 of a lb.
You may be in the Kilogram mode if you're seeing 3 places after the decimal.
Hope this helps!
