Quality Scale
It's a home use scale for me. I previously had a CJ-300 but after several years of use I decided to buy the CJ-600 so I could measure up to a pound. I found it extremely accurate and just used it to measure powdered die at 1 gram. I recommend buying the AC adapter.

Good scale so far
I purchased this scale to weigh my yarn for knitting. It has a large enough platform to fit most balls of yarn and the tray works well if the yarn happens to be too large for the platform. The only thing I've noticed is sometimes it takes a while to settle on a number. It fluctuates up and down 2-4 tenths of a gram for quite a while before it finally settles on a weight. Sometimes it will be off a tenth of a gram. If I remove the object & weigh it again, it weighs differently. I've done it with the calibration weight also (weighing, removing, immediately re-weighing) & it will be 499.9 one time & exactly 500 the next. It seems fine so far for my needs, though.

great scale for the price
I have purchased four of these types of jennings scales so far; the cj300, 2-cj600, and most recently a cj4000. The 600 is the one i use most frequently, with many hours spent weighing every day. The only weakness I've found is that after about 3-4 months of daily use, the tare button wears out and becomes inoperable, forcing me to turn the scale off and on every time I need to change the weighing container. This has now happened on both of the model 600 that I have purchased(it is the reason i bought the second one actually, when the tare button wore out on first one), so it seems to be a bit of a weak spot. The scales themselves still operate just fine, but not having a tare button becomes quite inconvenient. But for the price, and the amount of use I have gotten from them, I am overall pretty satisfied.

Excellent Product.
I tend to be very picky about the quality of the items that I purchase. That being said I can honestly say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase of this scale. It has all of the features that I needed (0.1 gram resolution, backlit display, stainless steel weighing surface). It's also large enough for what I use it for (weighing herbs). I also purchased the optional power supply as well as the calibration weight (had not found the need to calibrate as of yet - when I received the scale I weighed a nickel which was spot on 5 grams as well as the 500g calibration weight which also weighed spot on. The accuracy and repeatability of this scale is awesome. Just make sure with any scale to let it acclimate to the temperature of the room you will be using it in for improved results. I also really appreciate the great communication of Oldwillknots.com. This is definitely the first place I will come to when purchasing another scale.

Jennigs CJ600
I was looking for a scale that would reliably measure to the 0.1 gram for the use of measuring dye for wood working stains. A lot of the other scales I had been reading from other site did not have a good track record, return policy and warranty period. I came across Old Will's and like what I was reading with regards to favorable reviews, Good warranty and reliable scales. The service was great. I was kept informed along the way on the product being shipped and then tracking the progress on Old Will's site. It was delivered inside of the week (4 days). I purchased the 500 gram calibration weight just in case and I'm glad I did. Though the instructions say it calibrated before shipping, two nickles I was testing with were varying between 4.9 and 5.1 grams and the 500 gram weight was consistently reading 501.3 grams. I used the calibration weight and followed the instructions, which were easy to understand, and it calibrated just fine. Now the weight gives a consistent 500 gram reading and the nickels are consistent on their readings (one always says 4.9 and the other 5.0). I have not used a lot so far but feel confident this was a good buy. Jennings has been around for 30 years and the product comes with a 20 year warranty

Jennings CJ600 Scales
I love these scales and for the money they are the best. I have the CJ300 and bought the CJ600 with adapter that fits both. I highly recommend the adapter as this saves on battery life. These scales are very acurate as I use mine to weigh and sell my sterling jewelry which is why I came back two years later to buy the CJ600 to weigh the heavier pieces. With ther CJ600 came a cover which I use to hold my jewelry when weighing. I also use the CJ300 for weighing food. So many uses for these scales. These scales are easy to use and hassle free. Wow What A Scale!
I really didn't expect much when I purchased this scale but it turned out to be everything I needed. The quality of construction, accuracy, features are all superb. I highly recommend this scale if you need very accurate and repeatable measurements, it won't let you down.
