Removable Rubber Bumper for Stability & ProtectionMy Weigh added a genius, rubber bumper that does a great job of protecting the scale and keeping it stable while you're trying to weigh. You can even remove the non-slip rubber grip if you need to clean it or just don't want to use it.
Advanced Digital Weighing Technology™The DuraScale D2 300 was built with true, 10,000 division German HBM weighing sensors. This Advanced Digital Weighing Technology is going to give you the most accurate weight readings.
It Has WeighMeter™ Technology! If ya put too much weight, (more than the capacity of the scale) on any scale it can cause permanent damage. Unfortunately, most scales warn ya of an overload after it's too late. Luckily this Dura Scale D2 comes with WeighMeter Technology to tell ya when you're coming close to the maximum capacity. This will save ya from overloading your scale and damaging it beyond repair.
Man, This Thing Is Tiny! You won't have to worry about this scale taking up space. It's just under five inches long, and less than an inch thick! You can take this scale pretty much anywhere ya want...stick it in a pack, purse, or in your shirt pocket.
Bright Backlit DisplayThis digital scale has a fancy, red, backlit display to help ya see your weight readings, even in dim lighting.
Easy CalibrationThe DuraScale D2 pocket scale comes factory calibrated and ready to use. Just in case ya need to calibrate it, the D2-300 comes with easy to follow calibration instructions. You'll just need to pick up one 200 gram calibration weight to get the job done.
The Protective Cover Does Double Duty! This tiny scale's hard protective cover is great for keeping your scale safe when ya aren't using it...and it doubles as a nice weighing tray. Since it has edges, you can weigh all kinds of things that would normally fall right off the platform.
Stainless Steel PlatformThe DuraScale D2 300 has a durable stainless steel weighing platform to make cleanup a breeze. Stainless steel is great because it doesn't scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing.
Tare FeatureThe tare button on the front of the Dura Scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use the cover as a weighing tray to weigh your things, or if ya want to get separate weights of multiple items.
It Remembers The Last Unit Ya UsedIf your application needs weights in the same unit of measurement, (like ounces for instance), it can be a real pain if your scale always turns on ready to weigh in grams. It's a good thing the DuraScale D2 300 turns on displaying the unit of measurement you were using when ya turned it off.
Auto-Off FeatureIf ya have ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. The DuraScale D2 300 will automatically turn off after about a minute of inactivity, saving battery power and money.
30 YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY!If ya have a problem with this scale, just send it to MyWeigh's warranty center in Phoenix, Arizona. They'll fix or replace your scale and send it on its way back to ya within a week of receiving it. You should expect your replacement to arrive in about two to three weeks from the day you send the original off. Keep in mind that sometimes MyWeigh runs out of stock, which can cause a delay in the warranty replacement process.

For me this scale is working out very well. I have to say, I am very satisfied with the quality AND the low price tag. Nice packaging, easy to use, very accurate, rubber "bumper" gives it non-slip stability. Very happy with this purchase. Also, I called OWKS at one point about the order and they were very kind and helpful on the phone. Honestly this store has some of the cheapest prices I could find when researching my purchase. Happy to do business with them.Reviewed by: Matt from san Diego on (2/25/2015)
Nice, little scale that is sensitive and easy to use. Light weight, stable on the table, and after several weeks of use I am happy with everything but the short time-out for auto shutoff. However, I using the scale for liquids, which the scale was not designed for, so in light of that, I am very satisfied. (Touching the scale at regular intervals to make the weight change will keep the scale from early auto-shutoff.)Reviewed by: Susan Brand from Oregon on (8/25/2014)
Seems to work fine more offten than not, sometimes it will give one weight and then will give a slightly different weight after a few seconds of the object being on the scale, before removing that object. The worst issue is that the battery cover was warped on one corner, had to tape it down. Other than that I am happy with it for the price and what I am using it for, which is to give me an idea as to the weight of the gold that I find.Reviewed by: randy from arizona on (8/23/2014)
I recently picked up this scale from Old Will Knott Scales and was very excited when the first united arrived. Unfortunately the first unit had an issue where the battery store would not fully close no matter what - the plastic on the top would just stick open and also the top battery will not stay seated. That being said it worked well enough if calibrated and if the batteries were taped down. Old Will Knott Scales were AWESOME about sending me out a new one - they merely asked that I send them the faulty door. I did a a new one arrived about a week later. Unfortunately the new one had the same issues with the door not closing all the way and the top battery not seating correctly. This new one also had a problem in that it was either hypersensitive or just whacky. Everyonce and awhile the numbers would just jump around like crazy - the only way I could make this stop was by setting it on a counter alone and letting it just rest and repeatedly turn it on and off agin. So now I have two of these scales - they look great, but the rubber around the sounds never seems to be in the right place to hold it flat (it's removable and will move easily) and it has the issue of not holding the batteries in very well. All in all - I would personally have gotten a different scale (or the same scale but from a different batch that did not have these two issues) but the customer service I received could not be beat.Reviewed by: Brandon from Texas on (8/4/2014)
This is my second MyWeigh scale and the quality and accuracy is quite good. I purchased the DuraScale D2 because I was tired of replacing expensive lithium CR2032 batteries for the PalmScale 7. The D2 uses AAA batteries and I keep spare rechargables on hand. Very convenient and a lot less expensive. But the D2 is difficult to use because of the raised lip around the platform. Especially when using an adapter to lower the weighing platform to the height of a record album. I use these scales for turntable setups to set cartridge force (vertical tracking force). If this scale had a more typical platform height that was above the frame of the scale it would be much more user friendly.Reviewed by: Tom from Vermont on (4/20/2014)
Great little scale. Very surprised at the short shipping time. Activated the batteries and it was good to go. Checked the calibration. Probably reproducible to 0.02 grams, but that is all I need. Very pleased. Highly recommended.Reviewed by: Walt from New York on (3/19/2014)
Very happy with my purchase of the D2 300. The device is as described and easy to use. I am glad I purchased the calibration weight upfront. Although I haven't needed to use it (D2 owned for about 2 weeks now) it is nice to know I have it and can check the scale before weighing any items. The scale arrived in a couple of days,... making it through a bad winter weather window. I'll credit that to Will Knott Scales handling the order promptly.Reviewed by: trans from Michigan on (3/11/2014)
The weighing plate is so recessed that it is a pain in the butt to use. The included tray can be hard to center because it is so close to the size of the recessed hole that it often touches the sides. The accuracy is alright its within .02-.03 g accurate. Sometimes there will be an anomalous reading but if you take of the object and put it back on it seems to be ok. Scale is meh, was expecting more. The rubber protector is a good idea but doesnt make up for the faults of this scale.Reviewed by: Joe from Texas on (3/4/2014)
I bought this scale to weigh the gold i buy. I bought it with a 200g calibration weight. i looked at a few websites that sell scales and other things. i ordered other things from the other website and waited one month before i received my order. Oldwillknot was a pleasure to do business with and shipping was extremely fast. the scale is fantasticReviewed by: sandy bussell from san antonio tx on (11/20/2013)
Use this scale to weigh loose leaf tea. Also metals. Very happy with it.Reviewed by: Preston Jett from Huntsville AL on (9/15/2013)
Very compact and appears to be consistent and repeatable. Works great for measuring out precise quantities of coffee, the tare function is similarly uniform so it's easy to get good results. I bought it with a 200g calibration weight, so far everything has worked very well. No complaints, I do wish the auto-turnoff timing was adjustable but not a big deal.Reviewed by: JohnDoe from Virginia on (2/25/2013)
The scale is great for the price. I had to use a 100 gr weight and another 100 gr of steel balls and salt to create a calibration weight for the scale.Reviewed by: Mike from Mill Valley, CA on (2/24/2013)
I've been using the D2 300 scale for 3 weeks and have been impressed with it's accuracy and repeatability. It will consistantly weigh to 2/10ths of a grain. Outstanding especially considering the price. A flaw in the scales design is it's tendency to power off while it is being used. I use the scale to measure liquid adhesives and it will power off while i am slowly pouring liquid into a container to be weighed. As long as I know the weight of the container it's not a huge deal but it is an annoyance If your looking for an affordable acale that is accurate to 2/10 ths of a grain and don't mind the battery saving feature then this is a great scale. Oldwillknot was a pleasure to do business with and shipping was extremely fast.Reviewed by: charlie from New York on (1/30/2013)
Quality product. Accurately measures grains, grams, and ounces. I have used the scale to measure powder and hops. Works great.Reviewed by: Michael from North Carolina on (1/15/2013)
Just a brief note to tell you how pleased I am with the purchase of this scale. It's accuracy in 1/100 of a gram allows me to be confident in a true absolute weight. The fact that it has 6 different weighing modes makes it very versatile. I'm also awed by the 30 yr. warranty offered for such a low priced, quality scale as this.Reviewed by: daniel from central CA on (11/23/2012)
This is proving to be one of the most useful items I have purchased. Its ease of use and automatic adjustment for the tare weight is seamless. I use it in my Chemex coffee brewing process for my own personal use to accurately weight the fresh-ground coffee (Green Mountain from Vermont)for absolute consistency. I brew 10 6 oz. cups at a time in my glass Chemex and store it in a glass thermos. Coffee should never touch plastic or metal, certainly NEVER, EVER aluminum. It's hard to avoid plastic entirely -- almost impossible -- but contact can be kept at a minimum. Hey, I am Scandinavian -- Swedish-American -- and I was raised on coffee in Northern Minnesota. Well, milk with a dash of coffee perked on the top of a wood burning stove. By the way, I'm going to make a video of the way I brew coffee. I'm sure many other folks use the same techniques, but they might not know about the usefulness of the Weigh DuraScale D2 300 Digital Pocket Scale. Plus I make coffee to serve at the meetings of the groups in which I participate, such as my local Seniors Club. It raises my approval rating. ;-) And if the scale lasts as long as it looks like it will, this is one helluva piece of equipment for its price!Reviewed by: Hilding "Gus" Lindquist from Maplewood, NJ on (10/19/2012)
I like the accuracy of scale for weighing coins or bullion, gr,g,ozt, dwt it does it all. Great service if you have problems.Reviewed by: Tim from Oklahoma City on (10/16/2012)
As my jewelry business grows, I am realizing that I have to upgrade and upsize lots of things. Fast shipping and great prices are just a couple out of many reasons I'll be doing more business with Old Will. Thanks again!Reviewed by: Candice from Johnson City, TN on (9/4/2012)

A: Hi vman,
This scale in particular calls for a 200g weight for calibrating. This is according to the scale's manual under calibration instructions.
A: Hi Dave,
The difference with the two scales is the resolution, the D2 300 has a 0.01g resolution whereas the D2 660 has 0.1g.
