	Elite Solar Digital Bathroom Scale
The scale looks nice, and the solar power seems to work OK. Having a solar-powered scale is a wonderful idea. However, there's a problem with weighing anything under 25 pounds or so, maybe more. The description says it has a resolution of 0.2 pounds, so I assumed that it would weigh things in that range. However, the automatic on switch doesn't seem to work unless there's a lot of weight on it, so I have to turn on the "units" switch on the bottom of the scale, then put the item on the scale. Even when I do that, the weight only appears for a second, then disappears. The description probably should give a lower value for the functional range over which this scale weighs as well as an upper one.

	My Weigh Elite Solar Scale
After returning five scales in two weeks to various stores in my area because they were inaccurate, I recently purchased a light-powered scale online from Old Will Knott Scales. The scale I bought was My Weigh Elite Solar. I'm writing to say that I'm in love with this scale! It is accurate, ready to read after just a few seconds with the bathroom light on, and very aesthetically pleasing. And I will never have to buy batteries for it! I encountered one slightly grumpy young salesperson when I called to ask how to activate the scale (the instruction sheet was so thin that it was just about invisible in the box). But, hey, maybe I was grumpy that day too. The vendor is to be commended for the variety of scales it carries. And delivery was quick.
