If you, or a friend, have less than perfect eyesight, the Phoenix talking scale is for you. When you weigh with this scale, your weight readings will be said aloud in a pleasant, easy to hear female voice. If you're not in the mood to have your weights announced, just flip the switch on the bottom of the scale to make it hush up.
A lot of the bathroom scales ya see around have a teeny tiny weight display. Now, that's fine for most people, but not if ya have trouble seeing that tiny stuff. My Weigh designed this digital bathroom scale with a great big, LCD weight display with digits nearly one and a half inches tall. This feature is great for users with not-so-great vision.
Don't you worry about the Phoenix scuffing up your pretty bathroom floor. This digital bathroom scale has scuff resistant foot pads to keep your floor safe, and to keep your scale from sliding around.
You won't have to bother bending down to switch this bathroom scale on...just give it a quick tap it with your foot. The scale will turn on and you can get to weighing. Pretty easy, huh?
If ya ever have a problem with this bariatric scale, just send it in to the My Weigh warranty center in Phoenix, Arizona. They'll fix or replace your scale and have it on its way back to ya within two working days.
Q: Can sound be adjusted ?
A: Hi there Peggy,No, the sound can't be adjusted on this model. The talking is controlled by a switch, located underneath the scale, that has an off position and on position. The only talking bathroom scale we offer that has adjustable sound volume is the J-Talk 440. I hope this helps.
Q: 3 things.
1. How long does ther person have to step on the scale prior to it turning off?
2. How wide is the scale? I work with the elderly who have a broad stance or else will fall off the scale.
3 Where is the scale made? I am looking to buy as local as possible.
A: Hi there maliont,The Phoenix talking scale is about 13" wide and manufactured in China. You have about 15 seconds from when the scale says "It's Ready" till the time is says "Goodbye", signaling the scale is ready to give you your weight and powered off, respectively.Feel free to let us know if you need anything further.Take care,Brandon
