It Talks! Only If Ya Want MIf you, or a friend, have less than perfect eyesight, the Phoenix talking scale is for you. When you weigh with this scale, your weight readings will be said aloud in a pleasant, easy to hear female voice. If you're not in the mood to have your weights announced, just flip the switch on the bottom of the scale to make it hush up.
Easy To Read Weight Display A lot of the bathroom scales ya see around have a teeny tiny weight display. Now, that's fine for most people, but not if ya have trouble seeing that tiny stuff. My Weigh designed this digital bathroom scale with a great big, LCD weight display with digits nearly one and a half inches tall. This feature is great for users with not-so-great vision.
It Won't Scuff Up Your Floor Don't you worry about the Phoenix scuffing up your pretty bathroom floor. This digital bathroom scale has scuff resistant foot pads to keep your floor safe, and to keep your scale from sliding around.
Easy To Clean Membrane Keypad You won't have to worry about dust and dirt getting stuck under and around this obesity scale's buttons...The PD750L has an easy to clean membrane keypad with accurately labeled keys for easy weighing.
Step And Weigh Feature You won't have to bother bending down to switch this bathroom scale on...just give it a quick tap it with your foot. The scale will turn on and you can get to weighing. Pretty easy, huh?
30 YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY! If ya have a problem with this scale, just send it to MyWeigh's warranty center in Phoenix, Arizona. They'll fix or replace your scale and send it on its way back to ya within a week of receiving it. You should expect your replacement to arrive in about two to three weeks from the day you send the original off. Keep in mind that sometimes MyWeigh runs out of stock, which can cause a delay in the warranty replacement process.
THE SCALE WORKS AS CLAIMED; WE ARE HAPPY WITH IT. ONE PROBLEM, HOWEVER - IT IS VERY LIGHT IN WEIGHT, AND FREQUENTLY THE SCALE TIPS WHEN SOMEONE STEPS ON THE SCALE. THE FEET ON THE SCALE SHOULD BE CLOSER TO THE EDGE OF THE SCALE.Reviewed by: GARY BAILEY from Pennsylvania on (10/5/2014)
This is a great scale. The only addition I would add is a memory function for multiple family members. Which could help keep track of weights over the course of time.Reviewed by: Les Cameron from Kenilworth, NJ on (3/31/2014)
I cannot see the display with my impaired vision, but the scale's voice is loud and very clear. The scale is simple to use and seems to be consistently accurate. It's nice looking, and it is just what I needed.Reviewed by: Janice Vaughn from Houston, TX on (3/25/2014)

This scale was purchased for my elderly Mom who suffers from macular degeneration. She wanted a scale and we tried three other conventional scales before finding the real solution with the Phoenix Talking scale. She just could not see the readings on the others. Great solution, easy purchase, quick delivery, a nice purchase experience.Reviewed by: Susan Shine from Massachusetts on (1/14/2014)

My mom's 90 years old and needs to check her weight every morning. Because of her macular degeneration in both eyes, she can no longer read a traditional scale. With the assistance of the chat line, I was directed to the talking scale. It turns out to be perfect for our situation. It's easy for her to use, and she enjoys having it talk to her every morning. She makes a point of telling me her weight every time we talk.Reviewed by: Tom from Naperville, IL. on (5/1/2012)
My mother is 83 and my dad is 96 and both have severe sight issues. She kept asking for a "talking scale" and couldn't find one in any of the Medical Supply Stores and found this wonderful web-site and they LOVE it!!! They are now weighing themselves daily and love the funny way it talks to them. Thank you for making this a very easy and successful shopping experience besides putting huge smiles on my parents faces!!! HeidiReviewed by: Heidi from Powell, OH on (3/1/2012)
Questions and Answers
A: Hi there Peggy,
No, the sound can't be adjusted on this model. The talking is controlled by a switch, located underneath the scale, that has an off position and on position. The only talking bathroom scale we offer that has adjustable sound volume is the J-Talk 440. I hope this helps.
A: Hi there maliont,
The Phoenix talking scale is about 13" wide and manufactured in China. You have about 15 seconds from when the scale says "It's Ready" till the time is says "Goodbye", signaling the scale is ready to give you your weight and powered off, respectively.
