Weight function properly
The Ohaus weight set that I received appears to be actual Ohaus. At first I was confused by the marking on the 500 gram weight which stated "actual weight 475 gms. Then I realized with testing that the weight when hung from my Ohaus scale precisely adds exactly 500gms to the scale as marked. This is because the scale is actually a leverage device that requires that the add on weights be slightly less to have a precise effect as intended--either 500 or 1000 grms. In short everything is fine and up to specifications and I look forward to using the weight set in my jewelry business.
