If ya plan on using the Ohaus CKW series of bench scales commercially, you'll be glad to know there's an NTEP certified Legal for Trade weighing mode on each of these scales with Certificate of Conformance Number 06-030. This sure is gonna come in handy for weighing and packaging your items to sell commercially. The NTEP resolutions for each model are listed in the table above.
IP 66 / NEMA 4X Display Enclosure
These checkweighing scales have a display with an IP (Ingress Protection) rating of 66. That means the display is protected from falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing and corrosion.

20 Product Library Storage
The Champ checkweighers have a product library that has 20 spaces of memory. You can give these spaces product ids or names, a minimum weight, maximum weight, target weight and tare values. Programmable Beeper

Accumulate Mode
This cumulative weighing feature will let ya get the weight of separate items, then, you can see the total weight of all the items you just weighed. This is gonna come in real handy for getting separate and total weights for packaging and food portioning.
RS-232 Serial Port
The Champ CKW Series has an RS232 port built right in. This is important is you're wanting to send your data to a printer for recording weight readings and other data.
Checkweighing
Make sure ya get your weights just right with these Champ checkweighing Scales. When ya weigh in this mode, you can set weight limits for the stuff you're weighing. If your sample weight is too low, too high, or just right...the CKW will sure let ya know.
Tare & Pre-Tare Feature
The tare button on this digital bench scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight that is on the scale. You can then add more weight and the scale will only display the weights of the items you're adding...this sure is useful. You can also save tare values for future use with frequently used containers.
