Programmable Auto OffIf you've ever had your scale turn off on ya in the middle of important measurements, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can program the FD3H to turn off automatically, or to stay on until you turn them off yourself.
Programmable BeeperThese food service scales have a beeper that will signal when weights meet certain criteria in checkweighing mode. This beep will also sound when a button is pressed on the scale's keypad. The best thing about this beeper? You can program the beep volume, or turn it off altogether, you can even set how the beeper will respond to weights.
Programmable BacklightYou can even program the FD's backlit display. If ya work in dim environments, you can set the backlight to always on, or to turn on when ya press a button or change the weight on the scale. If ya don't really need a backlight, just set it to off. No unnecessary power use here.
Dishwasher Safe Stainless Steel PlatformThe Ohaus FD3H has a durable, stainless steel weighing platform. Stainless steel is great because it doesn't scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing. And to make cleanup even easier, the FD's stainless steel platform is dishwasher safe.
Liquid Level IndicatorThis very handy feature helps you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. All ya have to do is adjust the feet on the bottom of the scale until the spirit bubble is centered within the level indicator. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
CheckweighingMake sure ya get your weights just right with these FD 3H compact bench scale. When ya weigh in this mode, you can set weight limits for the stuff you're weighing. If your sample weight is too low, too high, or just right...the FD will sure let ya know.
Gross, Net & Tare WeighingWhen ya weigh in this mode the FD3H will show ya the tare weight on the scale, the weight of your items, and the total amount of weight on the scale...all at the same time. This can be a real handy feature for packaging and processing.
Tare FeatureThe tare button on this compact bench scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight that is on the scale. You can then add more weight and the scale will only display the weights of the items you're adding...this sure is useful.
Rechargeable Battery PackYou won't have to worry about searching high and low for a wall outlet to plug the FD-3H portion control scale into. The FD scales have an internal rechargeable battery with up to 120 hours of battery life on a single charge!
