  • What Is A Moisture Balance?

    A moisture balance, (or sludge scale) is used to measure the amount of hydration in a material. Moisture determination can be used in a variety of fields, such as, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and petroleum industries as well as environmental laboratories. To measure dryness or hydration, this balance uses halogen bulbs for rapid heating and drying.

  • Bright Backlit Display

    This moisture balance has a fancy backlit display to help ya see your weight readings, even in dim lighting. Not only that! This scale's display will also give ya the weight on the scale, the time, the temperature ya have set and the solid and moisture percentages of your samples.

  • RS232 Data Printing

    You can hook this moisture analyzer up to a printer using the built in RS232 port. This is gonna make it real easy to keep accurate record of all your experiments.

  • Tare Feature

    The tare button on the front of this digital lab scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure will come in handy for all those different pans you'll be using.

  • Time And Temperature

    You can set the time and temperature ya want to use for drying all your samples. This allows ya to accurately determine hydration levels in all sorts of different materials. You can program how long ya want this moisture analyzer to keep working, (from 1 to 60 minutes in 30 second increments, and 60 to 120 minutes in 1 minute increments.), to automatically shut off, or to keep working until ya turn ot off your self.
