Product Details

-OPTIONAL- NiMH Rechargeable Battery PackIf ya choose to buy a model with the factory installed rechargeable battery pack, you won't have to worry about searching high and low for a wall outlet to plug your bench scale into. The Ranger scales with internal rechargeable batteries offer up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge!

-OPTIONAL- Analog InterfaceThe Ohaus Ranger Count uses this optional analog feature to give you Two Scale Counting! This very useful feature will let ya hook up your Ranger counting scale to another scale or platform to give you a larger weighing space. You can also switch between scales if ya want to count big items on one and small ones on the other.

Six Models To Choose FromThe Ranger comes in six different models, the RC60LS, RC60LS/1, RC60LS/2, RC60LS/3, RC60LS/4 & RC60LS/5, each include all of the great features listed below plus a little something unique to each model. If ya want to see which scales have which features, check out the table above.

Auto PrintingIf ya hook the Ranger up to a printer, you can tell it to automatically print out your stable readings. This can come in real handy for recording and comparing your piece and weight data.

Average Piece WeightBefore ya start counting your pieces, ya need to let the scale know how much each piece weighs. Ohaus made this simple by averaging the weight of the pieces ya put on the scale. Just type in how many pieces ya put on the scale, and the Ranger will average the weights. The bigger your sample is, the more accurate the scale will be when counting your pieces. The sample amount can even be stored on the scale for future use.

Class II NTEP ModeIf ya plan on using the Ranger bench scales commercially, you'll be glad to know there's an NTEP certified Legal for Trade weighing mode on each of these bench scales with Certificate of Conformance Number 07-026. This sure is gonna come in handy for weighing and packaging your items to sell commercially. The NTEP resolutions are listed in the table above.

Dynamic WeighingThese high precision scales have a really cool dynamic weighing feature. This feature allows you to accurately weigh unstable items, or weigh stable items in an unstable environment.

Programmable Sleep ModeThe Ohaus Rangers have a bright, backlit weight display so ya can see your weights even in dim lighting. If ya use this precision scale on battery power, you can even set the scale to not use the backlight feature. This is gonna save you a lot in battery power.

RS232 PortEach bench scale in this series has an RS232 port built right in. This is important if you're wanting to send your data to a printer for recording weight readings and other data.

Tare FeatureThe tare button on this digital bench scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight that is on the scale. You can then add more weight and the scale will only display the weights of the items you're adding...this sure is useful.

Gross, Net & Tare WeighingWhen ya weigh in this mode the scale will display the weight of the tared container, the weight of the items in the container, and the total weight of all items on the scale. This can come in real handy for many different applications.

Liquid Level IndicatorThis very handy feature helps you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings. All ya have to do is twist the feet on the bottom of the scale until the spirit bubble is centered within the level.

Stainless Steel PlatformThis compact digital scale has a durable stainless steel weighing platform to make cleanup a breeze. Unlike gold or silver, stainless steel doesn't scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing. Since the platform is removable, this food scale is perfect for weighing food portions for packaging and food preparation.

1 YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY!When ya buy the RC60LS, RC60LS/1, RC60LS/2, RC60LS/3, RC60LS/4 or RC60LS/5 you'll need to head on over to the Ohaus website and register it to receive your one year warranty.
