Class III NTEP ModeIf ya plan on using the Trooper bench scales commercially, you'll be glad to know there's an NTEP certified Legal for Trade weighing mode on each of these bench scales with Certificate of Conformance Number 02-009A3. This sure is gonna come in handy for weighing and packaging your items to sell commercially. The NTEP resolutions are listed in the table above.
Storage LibraryIf ya weigh a lot of different items, this feature is sure to come in handy. The Trooper counting scales have a storage library that will let you save up to 59 files for your different parts and pieces. Each file stores item part number, average piece weight, pre-set tare value, over and under count values, and accumulated piece count. That's pretty handy if ya ask me.
Backlit DisplayThis digital counting scale has three backlit weight displays to help ya see your weight readings, even in dim lighting. The first display shows the gross or net weight and the weighing unit you're using. The second display shows the gross weight, counting accuracy, tare weight, average piece weight, pre-tare status, and memory accumulation (of course not at the same time). And finally, the third display will show you how many pieces are on the scale, which memory you're using, and over/under indication (great for comparing and checkweighing).

Tare FeatureThe tare button on this digital bench scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight that is on the scale. You can then add more weight and the scale will only display the weights of the items you're adding...this sure is useful.
Liquid Level IndicatorThis very handy feature helps you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings. All ya have to do is twist the feet on the bottom of the scale until the spirit bubble is centered within the level.
Average Piece WeightBefore ya start counting your pieces, ya need to let the scale know how much each piece weighs. Ohaus made this simple by averaging the weight of the pieces ya put on the scale. Just type in how many pieces ya put on the scale, and the Trooper will average the weights. The bigger your sample is, the more accurate the scale will be when counting your pieces.
