Stainless Steel Platform The PS-10 has a durable, stainless steel weighing platform. Unlike gold or silver, stainless steel doesn't scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing.

Bright Backlit Display This digital scale has a fancy backlit display to help you see your weight readings, even in dim lighting.

Tare Feature The tare button on the front of the PS-10 can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when you want to use an expansion tray to weigh your things, or if you want to get separate weights of multiple items.

Can the power saver feature be turned off, The manual sent with scale has very little information.

Answers

I had to contact Penn directly. Here's their reply: "when running on batteries, it will shut off. When running on the plug, it should stay on. I am also told that if leave something on the platter, it will remain on." I hope that helps!

Plastic free scale

Rating:

I was appalled to find the scale had been ensconced in styrofoam for shipping!

Then to find out I don't want to touch plastic and the control buttons are plastice so I have to wear protection.

Otherwise the Scale performs great.

Penn Scale PS10

We use these in our restaurants. We like the fact that they come with an AC adapter. Also, they stay on, so you dont have to keep zeroing them out. As our other scales die, I am replacing them with these. I have purchased 12 so far and we are very happy.
