If item arrives DOA (Dead On Arrival), defective, or "not as described":

A 100% refund (including shipping fee) or a replacement will be offered. If you prefer, the item can be exchanged for any item we sell for just the difference in price.
Just call us, and we'll let you know how to return the item to us, AT OUR EXPENSE :o)
All returned items must be in brand new, unused condition, with all original manufacturer warranty cards, papers, and manufacturer packaging intact.

Please Note:   We must be notified about a DOA or defective item within 10 business days of item's arrival. If you haven't notified us of a defective item within 10 business days of items arrival, you'll need to get your item replaced under the manufacturer's warranty.

Exceptions:   Three of the brands that we carry... Citizen, Ohaus, and Seca scales... must be returned to the manufacturer. These three brands can not be returned to us for any reason. If you receive a DOA or defective item from Citizen, Ohaus, or Seca, just call us, and we will contact the manufacturer for you so that they can issue a "prepaid return label" to you.

Items returned for any reason OTHER THAN DOA:
(IE: you decide you don't need it... you ordered the wrong item... etc...)

  Our site is not set up to track or collect personal information not entered by our customers. Our site is, however, set to generate certain kinds of non-identifying data. We use such data to keep record of visitors to our site and so forth. This information is used for internal purposes to help us provide a better shopping experience for you. We also utilize cookies to make site navigation easier, as well as to store items in your cart you wish to purchase at a later time. Our cookies do not generate personal data, do not read personal data and are not tied to anything that could be used to identify you. No personal information is collected.
