Solid, Sturdy, nothing cheap about it. This scale consistently gives the correct wait and I have not had to readjust the dial to zero. If you want a traditional, quality, reliable scale - this is it.

This is the best scale I have ever owned. Since I am 79 and have lived in many places, I have had many of them. This one is the finest. NO bells and whistles, just your weight. Legible, accurate, smaller than doctor scales, easy to adjust for accuracy. Foot pad insures no cold sensations. I am thinking of getting second one.

After buying 3 digital $20 scales, I was bummed. I don't know how I got to "Old WilKnotts Scales" site but I did and I noticed the name "Salter" on the scale. Now I grew up in West Bromwich, England, near Birminghom and when I was a child the most famous company for weights and scales was "Salters" so naturally, I paid attention. I'm not sure it is the same Co. as these were made in China, I do know that "Salter" was known the world over. That being said, I love my scale,it's perfect, (I think I've lost weight since getting it, which is a plus.

A surprise to me this was shipped the same day it was ordered. What a great scale just what I wanted. No batteries no bull just weight. Price was great. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for this type of scale.

I had been looking for a scale for over a year and simply decided that I did not want to go digital - I never trust their accuracy. I did my due diligence on the web in search of a high quality analog / mechanical scale and this model always came up in reviews and product comparisons. OWK had the best price, hands down. Quick delivery, lovely follow-up emails asking if I was happy with the purchase. Heck, I never heard of the company before. The scale is a winner. I read how a few users had trouble with calibration and worried about that being an issue when it arrived - but I did not have ANY problems with calibration, or the dial going back to zero anytime I stand on it. I am confident of its accuracy and enjoy its look. It's big mind you; very big. I cannot put it in my rail-road car style bathroom, so it is in my bedroom, below a window that gets lots of morning sun. I am very happy with this purchase and equally happy to have discovered this wonderful company. Good value, quality merchandise and top-of-the-line customer service. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends and family and anyone reading this board. The sheer beauty of this scale will keep you on the straight and narrow while budgeting calories.

The first scale sent weighed in 12 pounds lighter and called the company to report it. They were fantastic and said not to worry, that it was probably a manufactory issue. They mailed a new one out right away and it is great. Easy to read and accurate which is all I wanted.

I'm not as happy as I was hoping to be. It is VERY hard to zero out. Every time I get on and off, it stops a lb. or 2 above or below zero. Honestly once you get it to where you want it, it seems accurate, but the numbers could be bigger. I'm not at all impressed, but not annoyed enough to go through the return process stuff. This is not at all a reflection of Old Will Knott co. They were awesome. Received it sooner than expected in fine shape, and would shop for scales with the company again and refer to others. The Salter 200 scale is just not that good

The Salter 200 is an exceptional value for the money. It's easy to read and well constructed. The 10 year manufactures warranty is a great selling point. The metal construction seems very durable while not being to heavy to move around if needed. I highly recommend this scale.

The very best Scales for the momey i could have purchesed.
We needed a top of the line scale to use as a back up scale from a government scale that is installed at our business encase of a brace down with there scales.
