Product Details
What's An Archery Scale? An archery scale is a scale designed to measure the maximum draw weight of archery bows. This Weston scale is easy to use for both left and right handed people allowing for a smooth draw no matter who is using it.
Convenient Weight MarkerWhen ya give this hunting scale a tug, the weight marker will slide to the appropriate weight and stay there until ya move it back to zero. This will help ya get accurate measurements, since ya won't have to try and look at the scale while you're drawing your bow.
This Thing Sure Is DurableThis mechanical scale was built to last. Inside the corrosion resistant housing you'll find stainless steel components that are attached to the stainless steel weighing hook and hanger. No matter what you're using this scale for, it's gonna hang in there for a while.

| The scale was not accurate - error was not constant but increased gradually through the range. It was reading 5-7 lbs light in the 40 lb region and 8-10 lbs light in the 60 lb region. In order to work with this unit I created a calibration curve so that I could look at the indicated reading on the scale, check on my curve and get the corrected weight. You tend to get what you pay for. The scale was workable in that it enabled me to see what changes I had made whenever I adjusted draw weight. |
