Fanless Direct Current Static Eliminator With Replaceable Electrode Units Static electricity can alter measurements up to several milligrams. That's why A&D designed this BM200 Ion analytical model to include a built in ionizer in the upper section of the weighing chamber. Just hold your sample in the neutralizing chamber for a few seconds before you weigh. You'll get approximately 10,000 hours of use before you have to replace the electrode units.
Automatic Internal Calibration You won't have to worry about buying and maintaining external calibration weights to keep this analytical balance nice and accurate. The Ion series BM-200 has automatic motor driven internal calibration that uses an internal mass to automatically calibrate when a significant change in ambient temperature is detected. You can also turn off the auto calibration feature if you are weighing a very light sample, or need to perform long term weighing.
Internal Memory For Up To 200 Data Sets This balance will store up to 200 sets of weighing data. If you want to store the time and date along with the weighing data, you can save up to 100 sets. All data sets are stored internally on the balance and remain even when the power adapter is removed. You can output all your saved data at once to a personal computer, or printer at any time to clear up internal memory.
Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Data Output The data output format includes the balance manufacturer, model, serial number, ID number, date, time and space for signature. Connecting the balance to a personal computer or printer allows you to output a Calibration Report of the automatic self calibration and one-touch calibration using the internal mass. You can also output a Calibration Report of calibration using an external weight and a calibration test using an external weight. Title and end blocks can also be output for weighing data.

You can open either door of the weighing chamber from the opposite side, or open both sides with one hand thanks to the interlocking door feature.

ACAI™ (Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement) This function will improve the accuracy of the unit weight by re-calculating the unit weight with each additional amount of pieces you put on the platform. This is gonna make counting your parts and pieces super accurate and super easy.
Percent Weighing This feature will let you compare the weights of your samples against a predetermined reference weight. This can be helpful in weight checking, compounding, formulating and more.
Liquid Level Indicator & Adjustable Feet All you have to do is adjust the feet on the bottom of this Ion lab balance until the spirit bubble is centered within the level indicator. A leveled balance is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
