Hinged Protective Windscreen You can even program the backlight for the EJ123. If you work in dim environments, you can set the backlight to always on, or to turn on when you press a button or change the weight on the scale. If you don't really need a backlight, just set it to off. No unnecessary power use here.
Tare Feature The tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the item you're adding. This sure is useful when you want to use a separate weighing container or get the weights of separate items.
