Removable, Protective Windscreen When you're weighing with high precision scales like this one, even the tiniest breeze can interfere with weight readings. This Citizen scale comes with a durable windscreen to keep out those pesky drafts. Oh, and don't worry, this scale makes it easy to put your items on, or take them off, the platform. The windscreen lifts right off.

Auto-Off FeatureIf ya have ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. The Citizen MP300 will automatically turn off after a few moments of inactivity, saving battery power and money.

Bright Backlit DisplayThe MP 300 table top scale has a fancy backlit display to help ya see your weight readings, even in dim lighting.

Easy CalibrationThis jewelry scale comes factory calibrated and ready to use. Just in case ya need to calibrate it, the MP-300 comes with easy to follow calibration instructions. You'll just need to pick up a 200 gram calibration weight, (not included) to get the job done.

Tare FeatureThe tare button on the front of the MP-300 digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the item you're adding. This sure is useful if ya want to use this scale as a diamond or carat scale for weighing your jewelry pieces.

I noticed right away the buttons were so stiff the scale just about tips when pressed just hard enough to get them to respond. After setting the scale up I gave it a little time to adjust to the new temp / environment. The scale would only hold zero for about 5 to 10 sec then jump anywhere from .03 to .07 off without fail, and as high as 1.3. After calibration the scale fared no better. I Tried three different level surfaces all the way down to and including a concrete floor. THIS SCALE IS CHEEP CHINA JUNK! Citizen would do well to stay out of the cheep scale biz if this is the best they can do for a hundred bucks. Sorry I need my scale's to hold "ZERO" long enough to at least do something without me having to wounder if it drifted just before the weight touched it....
