Nesting Split Doors With Cross-Over Control The LF-225 DR makes it easy to open and close the doors with one hand. The cross-over doors allow you to open the left door from the right side of the balance, or the right door from the left side of the balance. These doors also nest, so you don't have to worry about them sticking out the back of the balance when accessing the weighing chamber.
Protective Draft Shield When you're weighing with analytical balances like this one, even the tiniest breeze can interfere with weight readings. This Intelligent Weigh balance comes with a durable windscreen to keep out those pesky drafts. Oh, and don't worry, the LF makes it easy to put your items on, or take them off, the platform. The top and sides slide all the way back.
RS232 & USB Interface The LF-225 has a RS232 and USB ports built right in. This is important if you want to send your weight readings to an external source like a computer or printer.
Does This Thing Count? You bet it does! All you need to do is weigh a sample amount of pieces, so the LF225DR can know how much each piece weighs, then start counting. You'll be finished in no time.
Percent Weighing This feature will let you compare the weights of your samples against a predetermined reference weight. This can be helpful with recipe formulation and adjusting batch sizes.
Density Determination This lab balance can determine the density of your product. All you have to do is enter a couple of parameters into the balance, the built in density feature provides rapid and accurate results. No manual calculations needed.
Checkweighing Make sure you get your weights just right with this scientific balance's check weighing feature. When you weigh in this mode, you can set weight limits for the stuff you're weighing. So, if your sample weight is too low or too high...the LF-225 will sure let you know.
Totalization You can use this accumulation feature to weigh a sequence of items together. This is a great feature if you need a balance with cumulative weighing for recording production runs.
Weighing Hook Sometimes the thing you need to weigh just won't fit on the weighing platform. Now that's a problem for most balances, but not the LF. This analytical balance has a weighing hook built right into the bottom. This will come in handy for density determination, gravity calculation, and a lot more.
Tare Feature The tare button on this analytical balance can be pressed to "zero out" the weight that is on the platform. You can then add more weight and the balance will only display the weights of the items you're adding...this sure is useful.
Liquid Level Indicator & Adjustable Feet This very handy feature helps you quickly and easily get your balance nice and level. All you have to do is adjust the feet on the bottom of the LF-225 DR until the spirit bubble is centered within the level indicator. A level analytical balance is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
