Class III NTEP ModeIf ya plan on using the Trooper bench scales commercially, you'll be glad to know there's an NTEP certified Legal for Trade weighing mode on each of these bench scales with Certificate of Conformance Number 02-009A3. This sure is gonna come in handy for weighing and packaging your foods to sell commercially. The NTEP resolutions are listed in the table above.
Programmable Auto OffIf you've ever had your scale turn off on ya in the middle of important measurements, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can program the Trooper to turn off automatically, or to stay on until you turn it off yourself.
Programmable Backlit DisplayYou can even program the Trooper's backlit display. If ya work in dim environments, you can set the backlight to always on, or to turn off after a few minutes of inactivity. If ya don't really need a backlight, just set it to off. No unnecessary power use here.
Gross, Net & Tare WeighingWhen ya weigh in this mode the Trooper will show ya the tare weight on the scale, the weight of your items, and the total amount of weight on the scale. This can be a real handy feature for packaging and processing.
RS232 PortEach bench scale in this series has an RS232 port built right in. This is important if you're wanting to send your data to a printer for recording weight readings and other data.
Battery OperationYou won't have to worry about searching high and low for a wall outlet to plug this compact bench scale into. The Ohaus Trooper scales can be used with plain ol' batteries with up to 100 hours of use on a single set.
