Minimum Weight Level Alert This bed scale system allows ya to set a minimum weight limit for your patient. This is a very important feature often used in intensive care and dialysis units that will sound an audible alert when your patient's weight has dropped to a critical level.
Pre-Tare Memory When ya use the pre-tare feature, the attendant can subtract a stored value from the weight on the bed scale. This eliminates the need to tare the value of the bed each time ya weigh, and ya can store up to three weights.
Pause Feature When ya have a need to add weight to your patient's bed (like adding a blanket or a book, for instance), just use the "Pause On" command. This allows any weight changes to be ignored until ya use the "Pause Off" command.
Rechargeable Batteries With Power Adapter If your working area loses power, there's nothing to worry about, because the included rechargeable batteries won't let your Seca 984 lose any of your stored measurements.
BMI (Body Mass Index) Feature This bed scale will determine a patients BMI number when ya input their height and weight readings. This can help to see if the patient's weight falls in a healthy weight range.
Tare Feature The tare button on this bed scale can be pressed to "zero set" the weight on the scale. When ya add more weight, the display will only show the weight of what you're adding.
