I purchased this scale to weigh gold and silver coins and occasionally it will be used in the kitchen to weigh spices. The scale is small in size and light weight. It has all of the functions that I could ever use. The display is bright and sharp and I especially like the 20 year factory warranty.

Nice little scale with lidd inexpensive shipping

I bought this because I've started brewing more beer but brewing smaller batches. The smaller batches really require greater accuracy in measuring hops than the my .1 ounce grain scale was giving me. I bought it and the 500 gram calibrating weight. Calibration was right on out of the box but the calibration procedure is straight forward and easy to follow. There is nothing I have put on the scale a dozen times or more from 1.2 grams all the way up to to hundreds of grams that has not weighed the exact same weight every single time. I highly recommend this scale if you need repeatable accuracy of light weight measures.
