I bought this scale as an upgrade to my rifle ammo reloading process. Previously I was using an 15 year old Dillon electronic scale but it only measures to the tenth of a grain and I wanted more precision for powder weighing. This measures to the hundredth of a grain. (It will actually measure a single stick of powder). I've only had this scale about a week but so far I am impressed. Once I got it leveled, its been great. I was concerned about how long it would take to settle on a weight but it is fast enough and I'm not a patient guy. Relatively simple to use with good instructions. If you are a reloader, this can up your game!

OK here goes; I do ballistic load development for antique firearms as a hobby and needed to replace my failing bench scale of ten+ years. My research for a better quality, and hopefully more reliable scale to fill my needs, led me to the A&D Newton ej123 bench scale, and at a respectable price point from the folks at “Old Will Knott Scales”. Turns out my experience with both the product and the vendor has exceeded all of my expectations, 5 stars-plus. Now if I can only get these types of results at the Range!

Thanks to the folks at “Old Will Knott Scales” for doing what you do - better than the rest.

Was not satisfied with my first scale purchase, I spoke with Brandon and explained to him my needs for reloading and he recommended the A&D EJ-123. Although more expensive than the first I was willing if the scale worked as he stated. Let me say it is great, easy to calibrate, stays on zero and I can weigh individual grains of powder. No matter where I place the pan on the scale head it weighs the same and does not bounce back and forth. Once I obtain my desired weight I don't have to raise and lower the pan to verify it is accurate. Couldn't be happier thanks once again for the advise and outstanding product.

I figure this cost me an extra $150 because of my stubbornness. In spite of the mixed reviews on the Gempro 250 I bought one last year. After trying to keep it weighting over the past year it finally died. This unit so far is far superior. I use it for reloading rifle bullets and the repeatability of this scale is great. The % function makes sorting brass quick and easy. The hole in the lid allows me to add one kernel of powder at a time to get right to the load I'm looking for. I'll come back in 6 months or so to report on long term dependability.

Haven't had much time to test but first test of 2 hours showed a .02 drift in first few minutes of warm up. Let set 30 minutes and re-zeroed within seconds of weighing test weights it went light .02 again. Repeated test 3 or 4 times over the next hour and same result after first weigh.
