Disposable !
if you are looking for a throwaway scale that won't cost you much, this is your ticket. it will work until the batteries fail. At that point, when you replace the batteries, it will go haywire and never work correctly again. The scale insisted that I weighed 5.2 pounds - before I even stepped on. And, you could not adjust the time anymore. Junk.

The Taylor 7560 has a "step and weigh" feature. All you have to do is step on it and it turns on. If you just bought the scale, make sure you removed the little piece of plastic where the batteries are located. If you've had the scale for a while, you may need to replace the batteries if the scale isn't responding after you step on it.
