It does what I want it to do. It seems well made (better than expected). I cannot yet vouch for the accuracy, but it appears to be about right to me. I rated it 5 stars because it is more sturdy than expected and in all other ways meets or exceeds expectation for the price.

I ordered this scale and got it quickly. I tried it on my bow. It was easy to use. At first, I thought it was junk. My bow is a 60-70lb bow and it was reading 55-56 every time. I brought my bow into a bow shop for some other work and they threw it on their scale and what do you know, it showed 56. I had them turn my bow up to 65 and when I went home, I put it back on this scale and it read exactly 65 every time. It works perfectly. I definitely recommend.

Sure it's "analog" but ain't an ounce of "planned obsolescence"; lube it up, get past the break-in period, and this NOS bowscale should last you a lifetime*.

This scale is one fine product
I was looking for an economical scale to check my archery equipment. This scale works very well for that. It is compact enough to pack along with essential gear for a trip to the archery range or afield. I like the fact that it locks on the poundage. Overall it appears sturdy and well built. It should last a long time. A piece of sure equipment.

Just What We Were Looking For
My son and I enjoy shooting our bows together. I’m 55 and recovering from a debilitating bout with West Nile. He is 7 and shooting a fully adjustable compound bow. As he grows, the draw length/poundage can grow with him. I wanted a product that could easily and at home show both mine and his progress as we increase our draw weights.
This produce is perfect: fair in cost, excellent design, sharp in appearance, accurate, and easy to use. It will have a place in our gearbox going forward.

This bow scale utilizes a calibrated spring for measurement with an analog scale. It is light, portable, and accurate.
It offers repeatable measurements. I verified the readings using my 67pound bow. This matched the reading on my digital scale used on my draw board.

Don't believe the negative reviews on line
Right out of the packaging I tested it with two 15 pound wights. Right on the money. Key is to pull it slow and not jerk it or bounce it. If you do either of these then it will show off. Works perfect. Easy to use. Grey color isn't an issue. Glad I bought it and recommend anyone who is looking to buy it too.

Great bow draw weight scale
This bow scale is spring loaded / manual so no need for batteries. Handy to keep with your tune kit. Came with its own sheath so it was easy to store and fits right in the side compartment of my travel bow case. Accurate enough for you to get to the right draw weight you're looking for.

Solid construction. Good value. I have not verified the accuracy but it does have great repeatability(+-1 lb). Since I only expect to use this sporadically over the years I am glad I will never worry with replacing dead batteries when I want to use it.
