How’d we get started in the scale business?
Hey! Will Knott here. Before Old Will Knott Scales, my wife and I audited convenience stores back in the 90’s.
One day, while preparing invoices for the mail, I realized that sometimes we might be able to get by with one stamp instead of two and save a little money. I found a cheap little scale on eBay to start checking each envelope before adding postage. A few weeks later, we saw that very same scale at Sam’s Club for a lot less money. I said to Doreen (my sweet wife), “Ya know, that eBay thing seemed kinda neat. Let’s buy one of these things and try to sell it there.” We sold it. Then we went back to Sam’s and bought two more. Sold those. We steadily grew.
Fast forward 24 years. Old Will is actually fairly old now (68 years, but who’s counting), and our company has sold tons of scales and balances to a bunch of great folks like you. It’s our goal to make customers super happy that they found us, and we do that by being knowledgeable, dependable, and trustworthy.
