It Has WeighMeter™ Technology! If ya put too much weight, (more than the capacity of the scale) on any scale it can cause permanent damage. Unfortunately, most scales warn ya of an overload after it's too late. Luckily this digital scale comes with WeighMeter Technolgy to tell ya when you're coming close to the maximum capacity. This will save ya from overloading your scale and damaging it beyond repair.
Programmable Auto-Off Feature If you've ever had your scale turn off on ya in the middle of important measurements, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can program the i700 to turn off automatically, or to stay on until you turn it off yourself.
Bright Backlit Display This jewelry scale has a fancy backlit display to help ya see your weight readings, even in dim lighting. Not only that! This digital scale's display will tell ya when it's stable and ready to weigh, if ya pressed the tare button, if the batteries are running low, and the unit you're weighing with.
Does This Thing Count? You bet it does! All ya need to do is weigh a sample amount of pieces, so the scale can know how much each piece weighs, then start counting. You'll be finished in no time.
Stainless Steel Platform This compact digital scale has a durable stainless steel weighing platform to make cleanup a breeze. Unlike gold or silver, stainless steel doesn't scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing.
Tare Feature The tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the item you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to get the weight of each ingredient for that delicious recipe.
It Remembers The Last Unit Ya Used The tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use an expansion scoop to weigh your things, or if ya want to get separate weights of multiple items.
Easy Calibration This scale comes factory calibrated and ready to use. Just in case ya need to calibrate it, the i700 comes with easy to follow calibration instructions. You'll just need to pick up a 500 gram calibration weight to get the job done.
Hinged Protective Cover The iBalance 700 has a hinged protective cover that helps make sure ya don't accidentally scratch up the platform, or overload the scale when it's not being used. And, when ya are using the scale, the cover can be flipped over and used as a nice, big expansion bowl for counting and weighing your stuff.
30 YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY! If ya have a problem with this scale, just send it to MyWeigh's warranty center in Phoenix, Arizona. They'll fix or replace your scale and send it on its way back to ya within a week of receiving it. You should expect your replacement to arrive in about two to three weeks from the day you send the original off. Keep in mind that sometimes MyWeigh runs out of stock, which can cause a delay in the warranty replacement process.

Had this scale for a several years, used for dry clays in my potting studio. It also records very accurate liquid glaze densities.Tare accommodates even a glass graduated cylinder.Remarkably stable, robust.Comes with a power cord which holds up.Pleased no end.The cover keeps it tidy safe and clean. You can't see it on the photo but the pan is clear of the body especially behind the instrument panel,so if you spill dry dusts like me,it cleans up well.Almost all the scales here do not do that,as they are for jewelers and parts sellers,so be careful with your selection.I am here now looking for one in a bigger capacity, but then you start to have costs and troubles with calibration so I will go for a less accurate resolution. The selection here is good here so do your homework and that should resolve itself.Staff is knowing and helpful.Reviewed by: JOHNY from Rossland BC on (3/23/2015)

I've been investing in precious metals for many years. Counterfeit coins and bullion have become a serious problem since gold and silver prices have spiked. I needed an extremely accurate and reliable scale to detect fake bullion and coins to protect my investments. I researched many sites for gold scales and found the absolute best deals and values at "Old Will Knott Scales". I purchased an "iBalance 700" (i700) just over a year ago and have been extremely happy with the i700 scale. I wrote this review today as I'm looking for a smaller pocket scale to carry with me to coin shows or bullion dealers to weigh the items before purchasing them. I leaning to the "DuraScale D2 300" digital pocket scale and will write a review on this product after receiving and inspecting it. I'm a very, very satisfied customer and I highly recommend "Old Will Knott Scales" to those needing accurate and reliable scales. Great variety and selections. I'm a customer for life.. I purchased this scale to weigh golf club components, as I am a custom club builder. In the golf industry, accuracy and precision are key to building great clubs. Each component has to be weighed before assembly, to assure accurate finished results. I particularly like the "tare" feature of this scale, as it allows me to adjust the weight of each club head in the set individually, so that they all progress equally in weight.Reviewed by: Stephen from San Diego, Ca. on (3/19/2012)
This is a great scale, I have been using mine for a couple of years now. I used it every day until i bought a certified scale for my store, but i still use it when I am doing home jewelry buying event or traveling. I really like the built in cover/tray the accuracy is always dead on. I am ordering another because i left mine back in FLAReviewed by: Richard Shaw from Old Saybrook, CT on (12/22/2011)
