The Display Is Wireless. Really! My Weigh did a great job designing this high capacity scale. You can either use the scale with the display connected to the platform, (saves power) or use the display completely wirelessly with Bluetooth technology! When you're in wireless mode you need six batteries for the base and the included adapter for the display. If you want the ultimate in wireless, stick six batteries in the display, too, and take it up to 18 feet from the base. No power outlet needed! If you don't really need a wireless display, hook the display to the base with the included cable and you only need to power the display with either the included power adapter or six batteries. Note: If you are using the scale wirelessly you will need to connect the display to the platform each time you turn it on by using the button on the bottom of the base.

I am a breeder of Siberian Huskies. I purchased this scale to weigh my puppies. This scale is spot on! I thought it would be at least a couple numbers off, but it is accurate with my vets scale. I like that it weighs in pounds, kilograms and stones. Another plus, you don't have to use batteries, as it comes with an AC adaptor. You do have to have a clear view of the reader, but that wasn't an issue for me since I hung it above the scale and used the adaptor instead of batteries. I will definitely be recommending other breeders to purchase this scale!Reviewed by: Shelia from Oil City, PA on (4/28/2016)
Missing star- this wireless scale is so great! The reason it is short one star is the fact that it does have some problems reading back to the unit. Example if it does not have a clear site from the scale to the head unit, and I mean a CLEAR site...... For this fact I have rated it only 4 stars, this is the sole reason for buying the unit. Is to have wireless readings, if you have a clear site its great!Reviewed by: Ashley from Nebraska on (8/10/2015)
This scale does everything I thought it would do and is super easy to use and set up. The scale arrived the next day after placing my order, way sooner than I had expected.Reviewed by: Jeremy Waugh from Libertyville, Iowa on (7/15/2014)

A: Hi there Ashley,
The actual measurements are a bit lower than that, but no by much; 0.5 inches, and that's a stretch maximum.
I screwed the legs all the way in and got a height of about 3.56 inches. We actually don't recommend screwing the legs all the way in, so the height is right around 4" normally. There isn't a way to lower it.
