You won't find any buttons to press on this kitchen scale. The Uber Alum was designed with electrostatic touch key operation. All ya have to do is gently place your finger over one of the two lights on the front of the scale to operate it. This means ya can worry a little less about water damage or gunk getting stuck under and around your buttons.
If you're having a tough time getting consistent recipes, you should try weighing out each ingredient with this My Weigh kitchen scale. When ya weigh what you're putting into your mixes, you have a better chance of your recipes coming out the same each time. And the best part is...no more measuring cups! Just weigh your ingredient, set the scale back to zero, and weigh the next! This kitchen scale can handle up to eleven pounds of ingredients.
This digital food scale is great to look at with it's brushed aluminum body and bright display. The best part? The aluminum weight platform is easy to care for.
The tare button on the front of this digital diet scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use a bowl or tray to weigh your things, or if ya want to get separate weights of multiple items.
If your application needs weights in the same unit of measurement, (like ounces for instance), it can be a real pain if your scale always turns on ready to weigh in grams. It's a good thing the Uber turns on displaying the unit of measurement you were using when ya turned it off.
If ya have ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you'll realize what a blessing this feature is. The My Weigh Über Alum will automatically turn off after a few moments of inactivity, saving battery power and money.
If there's ever a problem with this scale, just send it in to My Weigh's warranty center in Phoenix, Arizona. They'll fix it or replace it, and have it on its way back to ya within two working days.
