Before ya start counting your pieces, ya need to let the scale know how much each piece weighs. Ohaus made this simple by averaging the weight of the pieces ya put on the scale. Just type in how many pieces ya put on the scale, and the Ranger will average the weights. The bigger your sample is, the more accurate the scale will be when counting your pieces. The sample amount can even be stored on the scale for future use.
If ya plan on using the Ranger bench scales commercially, you'll be glad to know there's an NTEP certified Legal for Trade weighing mode on each of these bench scales with Certificate of Conformance Number 07-026. This sure is gonna come in handy for weighing and packaging your items to sell commercially. The NTEP resolutions are listed in the table above.
These high precision scales have a really cool dynamic weighing feature. This feature allows you to accurately weigh unstable items, or weigh stable items in an unstable environment.

The tare button on this digital bench scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight that is on the scale. You can then add more weight and the scale will only display the weights of the items you're adding...this sure is useful.

Unlike gold or silver, stainless steel doesn't scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing.
