Smart Range Dual Readability This laboratory balance has both high resolution and standard resolution ranges and a system that automatically switches between the two based on the value on the weight display. Regardless of load on the weighing pan, when the weight display is set back to zero using the tare function the readability automatically switches back to high resolution.
External Fanless Ionizer With Touchless Infrared Proximity Sensor To prevent static buildup from altering your measurements the Borealis micro balances include a hands-free, fanless ionizer (static eliminator) to eliminate static charge from your samples before weighing.
Remote Controller With Resistive Touch Screen & IR Sensors The Borealis balances have a modular design allowing you to operate the balance up to three feet away from the base. Gloved hands are no issue for the resistive touchscreen and the two hands-free IR sensors can be programmed to open the chamber doors, zero the weight on the screen, or send data to a printer.
IR Sensor Controlled Breeze Break Doors The IR sensors on the remote control unit can be programmed to open and close the doors on the weighing chamber. The distance the doors open can be set to your preference and you can manually open and close the doors without damaging the actuator.
Detachable & Fully Separable Antistatic Breeze Break You can remove the entire weighing chamber from the base for quick cleaning, or completely disassemble it for thorough cleaning and disinfecting.
AD-Just Automatic Self Sensitivity Adjustment The Borealis balances are equipped with an internal weight for calibration and sensitivity adjustment. You can program the adjustment to start with temperature change, at a set time, or at a fixed time interval.
Impact Shock Detection (ISD) The Borealis micro balances have shock detection that will alert you visually and audibly when it detects impact to the internal sensor. Each shock above level 2 is logged along with intensity, date, and time.
Liquid Level Indicator With On-Screen Level Assistance Setting up this balance is a breeze with the on-screen leveling assistant.
