Flow Rate Display (FRD)A common technique for determining flow rate is to use a stopwatch or your PC to keep time. This can cause disparities as those tools are not always in perfect sync with the precision balance or scale you are using. This can cause spikes in your readout even if the flow rate remains constant. The GF-203A features a flow rate calculation function which provides a feedback mechanism that compensates for the spikes in your readings. Giving you a more accurate and precise flow rate for your dosing or filling applications. Using the scales comparative function, you can monitor the flow rate data to make sure it does not exceed its specified limits.
Checkweighing With Visual HI/OK/LO IndicatorsTo make sure you get your weights just right, this precision bench scale has a comparative feature that will let you set your target weight. Once your target weight is set, the GF203A will let you know when you're over, under or just right by displaying a "HI", "OK", or "LO" symbol on the screen.
Electronically Controlled Load (ECL)The GF-203A has the ability to perform internal diagnostic checks using a repeatability test without the need for any external weight. This checks the conversion stability between analog to digital before it applies the controlled load inside of the balance. This greatly decreases the time other traditional repeatability test would take while also providing more accuracy.
Percent WeighingThis feature will let you compare the weights of your samples against a predetermined reference weight. This can be helpful in weight checking, compounding, formulating and more.

You'll just need to pick up a 200 gram calibration weight, (not included) to get the job done.
Weighing HookSometimes the thing you need to weigh just won't fit on the scale's platform. Now that's a problem for most scales, but not the A&D GF 203A. This scale has a weighing hook built right into the bottom. This hook works by pulling on the weighing platform when an item is hanging from it, just like if you were to put an item on top of the platform. Just uncover the hook, and hang your item from it to weigh.
Tare FeatureThe tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. This sure is useful when you want to use an expansion scoop to weigh your things, or if you want to get separate weights of multiple items.
Liquid Level IndicatorThis very handy feature will help you quickly and easily get your scale nice and level. A level scale is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
