Vibra® Tuning Fork Sensor The tuning fork sensor in this NTEP approved centigram balance is extremely stable and minimally affected by temperature. The ALE-322NC delivers maximum performance within minutes of start up, while balances with traditional strain gauge and electromagnetic load cells need up to an hour to warm up before use. The tuning fork sensor is also more resistant to shock than other load cell types leaving you with a balance that is engineered for durability, accuracy and longevity.

Tare & Pre-Tare The tare button on the front of this lab balance can be pressed to "zero out" the weight on the platform. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you're adding. You can also set pre-tare values for known tare weights.
Programmable Backlit Display The ALE has a backlit weight display you can program to always stay on, turn off after a period of inactivity, or to stay off.
Energy Saving Programmable Auto-Off You can also program the 322NC to turn off automatically after your choice of 3, 5, 10, or 30 minutes.
Does This Thing Count? You bet it does! All you need to do is weigh a sample amount of pieces, so the ALE-322NC can know how much each piece weighs, then start counting. You'll be finished in no time.
Totalization You can use this accumulation feature to weigh a sequence of items together. This is a great feature if you need a balance with cumulative weighing for recording production runs.
Density Determination This centigram balance can determine the density of your product. All you have to do is enter a couple of parameters into the balance, the built in density feature provides rapid and accurate results. No manual calculations needed.
CheckweighingTo make sure you get your weights just right, this NTEP balance has a checkweighing feature that will let you set your target weight. Once your target weight is set, the ALE-322NC will let you know when you're over, under or just right.
Percent Weighing This feature will let you compare the weights of your samples against a predetermined reference weight. This can be helpful with recipe formulation and adjusting batch sizes.
Liquid Level Indicator & Adjustable Feet To level this balance, simply screw each foot in or out until the spirit bubble is centered within the level indicator. Leveling the balance is important for getting the most accurate weight readings.
