This ProScale XC2000 scale is fairly small but meets my requirements very well. Measurements are consistent, that is they remain the same over multiple measurements of the same item. I recommend you purchase the appropriate calibration weight - I need one for calibration to ensure the scales accuracy. I am keeping the box for scale protection during storage and transportation. Issues: 1)there are no directions for how to access the scales controls. None at all. You do not pull the control drawer open - it pops open when you push the drawer into the scale until it clicks and then you release the drawer and it should open. DO NOT PULL THE DRAWER OPEN OR YOU MAY DAMAGE THE SCALE! 2) I could not close the battery tray lid. I discovered one of the slots for the lid had a step that the lid tab could not be pushed over. Fixed by filing the edge of the lid tab into a ramp that allowed it to climb over the step and allow lid closure.

I consider this scale a very good deal for the cost and I recommend it.

We wanted something a little bigger. If I had measured out 3.7" x 2.7" I would have ordered something different BUT with the pop out tray it's much easier to read then our smaller one. So all in all it's better for us then the what were using and it's replaced our small scale. We are very pleased size and price. But next time we get a larger one.
